In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Valley City Hi-Liners basketball team scored a good 65-47 triumph over the Lisbon Broncos.
The Hi-Liners (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Central Cass (Casselton, ND). The Squirrels go into the A Region 1 contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Central Cass was topped by Wahpeton (Wahpeton, ND), 60-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Broncos battle the Carrington Cardinals (Carrington, ND) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 6. Lisbon will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 12-4 record after their 70-65 non-league win over New Salem (New Salem, ND).
