Nevada High School Basketball - Oasis Academy can't hold off Pershing County

Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV), 32-29 in a league match.

With the victory, Pershing County upgrades its record to 18-6 on the year. The Mustangs host Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV) to face the Falcons in a 2A Northern match on Friday, February 7. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 4-14. Sierra Lutheran lost 37-16 in their recent non-league match against Portola (Portola, CA)

The Bighorns now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Incline for a 2A Northern match on Wednesday, February 5. Oasis Academy will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 57-12 league loss to Yerington (Yerington, NV). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-14.
