The Central Cass Squirrels basketball team (Casselton, ND), dropped 59-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Valley City Hi-Liners (Valley City, ND)

The Hi-Liners now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Cass for a A Region 1 battle on Friday, February 9. Valley City will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 66-63 league loss to Wahpeton (Wahpeton, ND). The Jaguars record now stands at 13-5.

The Squirrels (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND). The Firebirds come into the non-league battle with a 17-2 record. In their last battle, Devils Lake prevailed over Four Winds/Minnewaukan (Fort Totten, ND), 70-69, in a league battle.
