Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars (Zumbrota, MN), 61-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Lourdes upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Eagles host Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN) to clash with the Eagles in a AA Section 1 bout on Friday, February 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 21-5. Dover-Eyota won 78-50 in their recent league bout against Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN) in a AA Section 1 bout, on Friday, February 9. Zumbrota-Mazeppa will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 12-14 record after their 61-51 league win over Pine Island (Pine Island, MN).
