West Virginia High School Basketball - Philip Barbour thwarted by Lewis County

The Philip Barbour Colts basketball team (Philippi, WV), was toppled 64-52 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV)

The Minutemen now possess a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grafton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 13. Lewis County will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 60-42 non-league loss to Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV). The Bearcats record now stands at 13-8.

The Colts (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Parkersburg South beat Huntington (Huntington, WV), 53-51, in a non-league battle.
