North Carolina High School Baseball - Southwestern Randolph defeats Providence Grove

March 10, 2023: Asheboro, NC 27205

The Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC), 6-0 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A contest, on Tuesday, March 14. Southwestern Randolph will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 18-2 league win over Wheatmore (Trinity, NC).

The Patriots now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Uwharrie Charter for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, March 14. Providence Grove will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Bethany (Summerfield, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
