North Carolina High School Baseball - Purnell Swett nips South View

The Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) baseball got by the host South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC), 2-1 in Friday's league challenge.

The Rams now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seventy-First for a United Eight 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, March 18. Purnell Swett will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 11-4 league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 2-6.

With the defeat, South View drops to 4-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to clash with the Bears in a United Eight 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Gray's Creek lost 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC)
