North Carolina High School Baseball - South View defeats Purnell Swett

April 9, 2025: Pembroke, NC 28372

The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) and the host Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), saw South View's baseball team gain a win over Purnell Swett by a tally of 10-4.

The Tigers (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Bears enter the United Eight 3A/4A battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Gray's Creek held off Lumberton (Lumberton, NC), 14-7, in a league battle.

Next, the Rams face the Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A battle, on Friday, April 11. Purnell Swett will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 3-13 record after their 21-1 league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC).
