Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC), 15-4 in a league battle.

The Pirates now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Brunswick for a Mideastern battle on Tuesday, March 19. Topsail will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-3.

In their next game, the Buccaneers clash with the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern battle, on Tuesday, March 19. Laney will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Screaming Eagle come into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 16-0 league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC).
