North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Laney drops to Topsail

April 16, 2024: Wilmington, NC 28405

In Tuesday's league test, the visiting Topsail Pirates lacrosse squad scored a good 18-7 victory over the Laney Buccaneers.

The Pirates now have a 14-0 record. They take the field next when they host Croatan for a non-league test on Thursday, April 18. Topsail will face a Cougars squad coming off a 16-1 league win over White Oak (Jacksonville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 9-4.

In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern test, on Friday, April 19. Laney will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Screaming Eagle come into the test with a 7-6 record after their 17-2 league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC).
