Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC), 5-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bears confront the Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A challenge, on Tuesday, March 22. Gray's Creek will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 10-0 league loss to South View (Hope Mills, NC).
The Falcons now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cape Fear for a United Eight 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Seventy-First will confront a Colts team coming off a 5-1 league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Colts record now stands at 3-2.
