The Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC), 13-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Aces now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northeastern for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Friday, March 21. Holmes will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Northeastern drops to 0-4 on the year. The Eagles host Holmes (Edenton, NC) to clash with the Aces in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Friday, March 21.
