The Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) baseball trounced the host Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC), 11-0 in Friday's league challenge.

The Aces now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. Holmes will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 8-2 league loss to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 4-4.

With the defeat, Northeastern drops to 0-5 on the year. The Eagles host TEACH Homeschool (Virginia Beach, VA) to clash with the Beach Breakers in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. The Beach Breakers go into the challenge with a record of 2-5. TEACH Homeschool won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA)
