North Carolina High School Baseball - Holmes wallops Northeastern

April 22, 2025: Edenton, NC 27932

In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Holmes Aces baseball team scored a nice 20-2 win over the Northeastern Eagles.

The Aces (16-5) will now prepare for their game against Bertie (Windsor, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 7-13 record. In their last game, Bertie knocked off North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC), 4-2, in a league game.

Next, the Eagles play the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A game, on Tuesday, April 29. Northeastern will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 2-13 record after their 10-4 league loss to Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC).
