In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Hoggard Vikings lacrosse squad scored a tight 17-10 triumph over the South Brunswick Cougars.

The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions go into the Mideastern challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, North Brunswick was overwhelmed by New Hanover (Wilmington, NC), 18-3, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Waccamaw Warriors (Pawley's Island, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 19. South Brunswick will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 22-5 non-league loss to St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC).
