The Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) lacrosse routed the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), 19-6 in Thursday's league outing.
The Vikings now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Laney for a Mideastern outing on Tuesday, April 22. Hoggard will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 18-1 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, South Brunswick falls to 5-6 on the year. The Cougars host Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC) to face the Hurricanes in a non-league outing on Friday, April 11. The Hurricanes go into the outing with a record of 6-5. Cape Fear Academy lost 20-12 in their recent non-league outing against St. David's (Raleigh, NC)
