North Carolina High School Soccer - Anson overwhelmed by Central Academy

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Central Academy Cougars soccer squad scored a close 8-1 triumph over the Anson Bearcats.

The Cougars (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, West Cabarrus was overwhelmed by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 9-0, in a league battle.

The Bearcats (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack come into the Rocky River 2A/3A battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Parkwood was overwhelmed by Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
