North Carolina High School Soccer - Central Academy knocks off Anson

The Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) soccer bounced the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), 8-0 in Thursday's league bout.

With the win, Central Academy moves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Cougars host Union Academy (Monroe, NC) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 23. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 10-3.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A bout, on Tuesday, April 23. Anson will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Wolf Pack go into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 12-3 league loss to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC).
