North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Clayton can't get by Garner

In Monday's league test, the visiting Garner Trojans lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Clayton Comets.

The Trojans now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Corinth Holders for a Greater Neuse River test on Thursday, March 23. Garner will face a Pirates squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 7-3.

In their next game, the Comets face the Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a Greater Neuse River test, on Thursday, March 23. Clayton will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Storm come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 7-6 league loss to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC).
