In Thursday's league test, the host Garner Trojans lacrosse squad scored a tight 16-10 victory over the Clayton Comets.
The Trojans now have a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Corinth Holders for a Greater Neuse River test on Tuesday, April 25. Garner will face a Pirates squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 14-4.
In their next game, the Comets face the Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a Greater Neuse River test, on Tuesday, April 25. Clayton will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Storm come into the test with a 12-5 record after their 6-5 league loss to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC).
