The Rio Rancho Rams triumphed over the visiting Volcano Vista Hawks softball squad by a count of 20-10 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Rams meet the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 21. Rio Rancho will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
The Hawks (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Atrisco Heritage Academy was routed by La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 12-2, in a non-league challenge.
