Scott Central Rebels (Forest, MS) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS), 19-9 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Scott Central improves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Rebels host Lake (Lake, MS) to play the Hornets in a 2A Region 5 game on Tuesday, March 25. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 8-7.

The Bearcats now hold a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Northeast Jones for a 4A Region 5 game on Tuesday, March 25. Forest will play a Tigers squad coming off a 14-3 non-league win over West Jones (Laurel, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 12-3.
