The Scott Central Rebels softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Forest Bearcats to 3 in the Rebels non-league win on Friday.
The Rebels now possess a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bay Springs for a 2A Region 5 battle on Tuesday, April 8. Scott Central will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Stringer (Stringer, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-9.
With the loss, Forest moves to 4-15 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Newton (Newton, MS) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 5. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-2.
