The Cape Fear Colts crushed the visiting South View Tigers baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Colts now possess a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Gray's Creek for a United Eight 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, March 28. Cape Fear will face a Bears team coming off a 7-6 league win over Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Bears record now stands at 6-4.

Next, the Tigers face the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A bout, on Tuesday, March 28. South View will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Buccaneers enter the bout with a 4-6 record after their 7-6 league loss to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC).
