California High School Baseball - Saint Francis defeats Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory

Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA), 7-0 in a league test.

With the win, Saint Francis upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Lancers host St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to battle the Wildcats in a West Catholic test on Thursday, March 30. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 9-2.

With the defeat, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory falls to 3-8 on the season. The Fightin' irish host Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA) to battle the Crusaders in a West Catholic test on Friday, March 31. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 7-6. Archbishop Riordan won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against More (San Jose, CA)
