The Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) baseball nipped the host St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM), 10-9 in Friday's league contest.
Coming up next, the Pirates play the Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 1. Grants will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 10-1 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO).
The Sartans now sport a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bosque for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 4. St. Pius X will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 13-8 non-league win over Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-2.
