The St. Pius X Sartans baseball team (Albuquerque, NM), was overwhelmed 17-10 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Grants Pirates (Grants, NM)
The Pirates now hold a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a 4A District 5 outing on Friday, April 21. Grants will confront a Hornets team coming off a 12-1 league loss to Belen (Belen, NM). The Hornets record now stands at 2-15.
Next, the Sartans confront the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a 4A District 5 outing, on Friday, April 21. St. Pius X will attempt to advance on its 15-5 season record. The Jaguars go into the outing with a 8-14 record after their 6-0 league loss to Grants (Grants, NM).
