Texas High School Softball - Parkland bounces Bel Air

Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX), 13-9 in a league challenge.

The Matadors now own a 13-11 record. They take the field next when they host Hanks for a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Saturday, April 1. Parkland will battle a Knights squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Knights record now stands at 26-1.

With the loss, Bel Air falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Horizon (El Paso, TX) to battle the Scorpions in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Saturday, April 1. The Scorpions enter the challenge with a record of 3-10.
