The Devils Lake Firebirds felled the host Four Winds/Minnewaukan Indians basketball squad by a margin of 68-58 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Firebirds (23-3) will now prepare for their outing against Thompson (Thompson, ND). The Tommies go into the non-league outing with a 13-10 record. In their last outing, Thompson thwarted Grafton (Grafton, ND), 60-57, in a non-league outing.
The Indians now own a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Grafton for a A Region 2 outing on Thursday, March 7. Four Winds/Minnewaukan will clash with a Spoilers squad coming off a 60-57 non-league loss to Thompson (Thompson, ND). The Spoilers record now stands at 17-5.
