In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Triton Hawks baseball team scored a tight 9-4 victory over the South Johnston Trojans.
The Hawks (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Jaguars go into the All American 3A/4A game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Overhills was overwhelmed by Triton (Erwin, NC), 12-0, in a league game.
The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Braves go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Socastee was overwhelmed by St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC), 3-2, in a non-league game.
