North Carolina High School Baseball - Triton loses to South Johnston

In Monday's non-league game, the host South Johnston Trojans baseball team scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Triton Hawks.
The Trojans (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Spartans go into the Quad County 3A game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Smithfield-Selma tipped Harnett Central (Angier, NC), 8-7, in a non-league game.
The Hawks (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles go into the All American 3A/4A game with a 6-10 record. In their last game, Western Harnett was overwhelmed by Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 11-0, in a league game.
