California High School Volleyball - Monta Vista can't hold off Lynbrook

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Lynbrook Vikings volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Monta Vista Matadors.
The Vikings (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA). The Chargers come into the non-league battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Wilcox was edged by Prospect (Saratoga, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Matadors clash with the Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) in a SCVAL - De Anza battle, on Wednesday, April 5. Monta Vista will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 8-10 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA).
