New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) followers exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC), 14-8 in a league battle.

The Bears now have a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Pinecrest for a non-league battle on Friday, April 12. New Bern will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 18-3 league win over Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 11-2.

In their next game, the Rams clash with the J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC) in a Big Carolina/Northeastern Coastal battle, on Monday, April 15. Havelock will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Rampants come into the battle with a 5-4 record after their 15-5 league loss to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC).
