The South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) baseball the visiting Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC), 4-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Raleigh HomeSchool for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 12. South Johnston will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 14-5 non-league loss to Varsity Opponent (, ). The Hawks record now stands at 5-4.
With the defeat, Southern Wayne drops to 5-11 on the year. The Saints travel to Hunt (Wilson, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a Quad County 3A challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Hunt won 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Millbrook (Raleigh, NC)
