The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) and the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), saw Topsail's lacrosse team top New Hanover by a margin of 15-2.

The Pirates (13-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings enter the Mideastern challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Hoggard beat West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 13-1, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions enter the Mideastern challenge with a 0-13 record. In their last challenge, North Brunswick was overwhelmed by Laney (Wilmington, NC), 16-0, in a league challenge.
