New Mexico High School Softball - Valley bounces Manzano

April 12, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87112

The Valley Vikings routed the host Manzano Monarchs softball squad by a final score of 21-11 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Vikings (8-14) will now prepare for their battle against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers go into the 4A District 6 battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Albuquerque Academy topped Belen (Belen, NM), 16-13, in a non-league battle.

The Monarchs now possess a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe for a 5A District 5 battle on Saturday, April 15. Manzano will meet a Demons squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons record now stands at 4-12.
