The West Warwick Wizards softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host North Providence Cougars to 0 in the Wizards league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, West Warwick improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Wizards travel to Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI) to clash with the Villa Novans in a Division 2 B game on Saturday, April 16. The Villa Novans come into the game with a record of 0-5. Woonsocket lost 6-1 in their recent league game against Johnston (Johnston, RI)

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 2 B game, on Tuesday, April 19. North Providence will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 17-4 league loss to Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI).
