The West Warwick Wizards softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting North Providence Cougars to 1 in the Wizards league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, West Warwick improves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Wizards host Toll Gate (Warwick, RI) to face the Titans in a Division 2 B match on Tuesday, May 17. The Titans go into the match with a record of 10-2.

With the loss, North Providence moves to 5-8 on the season. The Cougars host East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI) to face the Avengers in a Division 2 B match on Tuesday, May 17. The Avengers go into the match with a record of 13-2. East Greenwich won 10-0 in their recent league match against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI)
