The Highland Hornets baseball team (Albuquerque, NM), was overwhelmed 23-1 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Grants Pirates (Grants, NM)
The Pirates now hold a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Pius X for a 4A District 5 outing on Tuesday, April 19. Grants will confront a Sartans team coming off a 15-5 league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Sartans record now stands at 14-4.
Next, the Hornets confront the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a 4A District 5 outing, on Tuesday, April 19. Highland will attempt to advance on its 0-18 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 10-8 record after their 4-3 league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM).
