North Carolina High School Baseball - South Brunswick sneaks past Topsail

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) and the host Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC), saw South Brunswick's baseball team get by Topsail by a tally of 10-9.
The Cougars (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions enter the Mideastern 3A/4A battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, North Brunswick was tipped by West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 4-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Pirates face the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A battle, on Thursday, April 17. Topsail will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 6-11 record after their 4-1 league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC).
