Ohio High School Baseball - Independence loses to Briggs

The Briggs Bruins bounced the visiting Independence 76ers baseball team by a margin of 17-2 in Wednesday's league game.

The Bruins (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Columbus Torah Academy (Columbus, OH). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Columbus Torah Academy knocked off Foxfire (Zanesville, OH), 18-3, in a league game.

Next, the 76ers play the Cristo Rey Cougar (Columbus, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 21. Independence will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Cougar go into the game with a 1-2 record after their 17-13 non-league loss to Madison Christian (Groveport, OH).
