The Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) softball routed the visiting Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM), 14-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Broncos (8-14) will now prepare for their bout against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM). The Bobcats go into the 4A District 1 bout with a 11-13 record. In their last bout, Bloomfield was routed by Aztec (Aztec, NM), 9-4, in a league challenge.
With the loss, Shiprock falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Miyamura (Gallup, NM) to face the Patriots in a 4A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 12-12. Miyamura lost 12-1 in their recent league challenge against Gallup (Gallup, NM)
