Connecticut High School Softball - Nonnewaug bounces Thomaston

In Monday's league match, the visiting Nonnewaug Chiefs softball team scored a nice 19-3 win over the Thomaston Bears.

The Chiefs (10-0) will now prepare for their match against Farmington (Farmington, CT). The River Hawks come into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Farmington was routed by East Hartford (East Hartford, CT), 17-8, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bears confront the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) in a Berkshire match, on Tuesday, April 29. Thomaston will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 5-5 record after their 19-4 league win over Housatonic (Falls Village, CT).
