Connecticut High School Softball - Nonnewaug bounces Thomaston

The Nonnewaug Chiefs softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Thomaston Bears to 4 in the Chiefs league win on Tuesday.

The Chiefs now sport a 21-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwestern Regional for a Berkshire battle on Wednesday, May 28. Nonnewaug will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT). The Highlanders record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Thomaston moves to 11-9 on the season.
