The St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) baseball the visiting Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), 9-4 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Sartans now own a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they host Grants for a 4A District 5 challenge on Friday, April 4. St. Pius X will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 25-1 league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 9-4.
With the defeat, Belen drops to 9-6 on the year. The Eagles host Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Hornets in a 4A District 5 challenge on Friday, April 4. The Hornets go into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Highland won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Socorro (Socorro, NM)
