New Mexico High School Baseball - Sandia defeats Santa Fe

In Saturday's league game, the host Sandia Matadors baseball team scored a close 7-0 win over the Santa Fe Demons.

The Matadors (14-3) will now prepare for their game against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons go into the 5A District 2 game with a 4-10 record. In their last game, Santa Fe was overwhelmed by St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM), 13-7, in a non-league game.

Next, the Demons play the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 game, on Saturday, April 5. Santa Fe will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Matadors go into the game with a 12-3 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM).
