Nevada High School Softball - Yerington bounces Oasis Academy

Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV), 11-6 in a league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oasis Academy for a 2A- Northern challenge on Saturday, April 6. Yerington will face a Bighorns squad coming off a 15-7 league loss to Yerington (Yerington, NV). The Bighorns record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, Oasis Academy falls to 13-2 on the campaign. The Bighorns host Yerington (Yerington, NV) to face the Lions in a 2A- Northern challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. Yerington won 15-7 in their recent league challenge against Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV)
