North Carolina High School Baseball - Purnell Swett loses to Cape Fear

The Purnell Swett Rams baseball team (Pembroke, NC), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC)

The Colts now hold a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pine Forest for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 10. Cape Fear will face a Trojans team coming off a 8-6 league win over Triton (Erwin, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 8-9.

Next, the Rams face the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A outing, on Thursday, April 11. Purnell Swett will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record. The Buccaneers enter the outing with a 2-12 record after their 7-6 league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC).
