Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), 14-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Taos improves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Tigers host Moriarty (Moriarty, NM) to play the Pintos in a 4A District 2 game on Saturday, April 12. The Pintos go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Moriarty lost 8-7 in their recent league bout against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)

In their next game, the Elks/Elkettes clash with the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a 4A District 2 bout, on Saturday, April 12. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to advance on its 3-13 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 11-5 league win over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM).
