The Topsail Pirates lacrosse squad scored 13 points and limited the visiting Hoggard Vikings to 11 in the Pirates league triumph on Monday.

The Pirates now hold a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Laney for a Mideastern challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Topsail will clash with a Buccaneers squad coming off a 18-2 league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Hoggard falls to 14-5 on the year. The Vikings host New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a Mideastern challenge on Wednesday, May 7. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 16-2. New Hanover won 20-2 in their recent league challenge against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)
